London, UK - 18th October 2004 - The Queen's Award for Enterprise in the Innovation Category has been presented to ProCheckUp, a leader in IT security, for the development of its unique ProCheckNet service which mimics the actions of sophisticated hackers in order to help secure the IT systems of businesses.
At a formal lunch held at The Ivy restaurant in Central London, the Award and Grant were officially presented by Surgeon-Captain M.N. Naylor RD, DL, RNR on behalf of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The Queen's Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2004 recognises the achievement of ProCheckUp's unique ProCheckNet security services. ProCheckNet is a highly innovative technology used in the field of penetration testing. It incorporates an artificial intelligence engine to perform security assessments on complex IT infrastructure, web sites and applications more comprehensively and more effectively than the traditional manual methods.
